DAY CARE

Bayside Bed & Biscuit has several day care options available Monday through Saturday to accommodate you and your dog’s busy schedule. With day care activities for both social and active pups as well as the non-social and/or pampered pups, we have something for everyone.

GROUP PLAY

Group play is offered Monday through Saturday and offers your dog socialization and exercise in a fun and safe, supervised environment. It is one of the most popular and fun times at Bayside Bed & Biscuit. We’ve got big yards to run in, swimming pools, a Splash Pad, toys galore and lots of love for your babies. Large dogs play together in our huge play yards and outdoor pavilion. Smaller dogs play with their friend in separate yards/rooms. Both groups have indoor alternatives in case of bad weather. Group supervisors have specialized training for dogs in group play and every pet in group is supervised closely.

Due to the highly physical nature of Group Play, we do not recommend you feeding your dog within one hour of Group Play, due to the risk of “bloat”. We can provide meals/treats as needed during “rest time” from 12 pm – 1 pm.

How to Get Started: Social Assessment

Each dog interested in becoming a member of our Group Play Program is required to pass a Social Assessment given by one of our Behavior Coaches. The assessment process is used to determine how social each dog is prior to being accepted into the program. Assessments are scheduled Monday-Thursday.

Dogs build relationships just as we do, so it’s very important that you stick to the same days each week and maintain a minimum once per week attendance. We require a re-assessment for any dog who hasn’t attended in over 3 months.

Aggressive behavior is NOT permitted in our Group Play program, regardless if it’s directed towards humans or dogs. Any signs of aggression will result in dismissal of our program until further action is taken.

A credit card or punch card is required to participate and any dog over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered. Please download, print, and complete the Group Play Assessment form and contact us to schedule an appointment for assessment.

Due to limited space, half-day attendance is not permitted during peak seasons.

Saturday Group Play $30

Group Play on Saturday is from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. ALL dogs not boarding at our facility must be picked up by noon.

Dog Gurus Member & Daycare Games Participant

We have taken the Dog Gurus Off-Leash Play Safety Pledge as part of our commitment to ensuring the physical safety of all dogs. Bayside Bed & Biscuit participates in The Dog Gurus Daycare Games. The Daycare Games is an annual competition of off-leash dog play attendants and pet centers that fosters leadership skills, understanding canine body language, and working with the dogs each day in a way that fosters a strong bond between the dogs and the staff.

Additional Daycare Program Options

Puppy Play

$35/day, $25/half day

Puppy Play is held in the training Room and managed by the Behavior Coaches. This program is for puppies that have at least their first two sets of vaccines and are between the ages of 2.5 months to 6 months old. Puppies play with each other for multiple play sessions during the day and in between sessions they take naps in crates. Puppies will learn from each other polite play and how to interact with each other through different play styles. Puppy Play is held on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays.

Day Board

Standard State Room Day Board

Daycare is available on a daily basis (Monday through Saturday) for just $30 per pet. This service provides your pet with a 15-minute playtime with one of our trained staff. Your dog will stay in one of our state rooms and will receive two potty walks and a snack. We also have daycare for cats. Advanced reservations are highly recommended.

Master Suite Day Board

Master State Room Daycare is also available on a daily basis (Monday through Saturday) for a fee of just $35 per dog. Your dog will stay in one of our Master Suites and will receive a 15-minute playtime with one of our staff, a snack and two potty walks. The Master Suites resemble a bedroom setting, complete with wrought iron bed and television. Advanced reservations highly recommended.
