Bayside’s Canine Behavioral School has many group class options available throughout the year. Classes are specifically designed so that you can participate in all parts of training with your dog, alongside other people with similar interest and needs. Although classes are set up to manage multiple people and dogs, we still believe quality over quantity is most important in training. Because of this, space is very limited. Each of our classes meet once a week for an one hour and run for 6 consecutive weeks.
Classes are set up so that you are taught how to train your dog. Classes use science based positive training methods, where you will be taught how to use a marker word. After each class you will receive homework on what was covered as it is important to practice throughout the week. If you follow through with the training you will see a huge improvement with your dog.
All classes require your dog to be up to date on the following vaccinations: Rabies, DHP-P, Bordetella & Canine Influenza. Your dog must be friendly and not aggressive towards people or other dogs.
Classes are taught by Amanda Haynes CDPT-KA.
